We took our kiddos to see the new zoo kiddos. Baby Wilbear, the newest polar bear. He was SO cute and playful!
And Samir, the two week old baby rhino. Awwww!
We had a nice little picnic and walk at the park downtown Stuttgart.
Maleah brought us LOTS of pretty flowers.
We were so excited to see them setting up for the Weindorf! Which is where we ended up the very next day. mmmm! German food, yummy wine! What a day!
We spent my hubby's birthday at the Killesberg Park (GREAT place, if you've never been, and you have kids, you should go!)
They've got the most gorgeous dahlias growing there right now! I LOVE LOVE LOVE Dahlias, so, I was uber excited!
Lot's of time trampin' it up! (hehehe, couldn't resist!)
And yesterday, we went to the Lowentor Museum (it's a dinosaur museum...very cool!) that sits at the end of the park running all through Stuttgart (at the zoo end). It was fun, kids loved the dinos. And, the ice cream in the park afterwards. Next time we go, we'll go earlier and walk to the castle that's there, too!
Ahhh, what possibilities for entertainment that are here in Germany. :)
Oh, and the evening entertainment??? Bier, bier, wine, and bier! How nice to not be in a dry country!

I love the flower pictures!!! And you have such a sweet family, I'm glad you have had so much fun back in Germany. Say hi to the family for me!!!
I need to go to killesberg park-don't they also have a pool over there?? your blog looks nice!
yeah, they DO have a pool. In fact, on the train ride we took, I saw it for the first time. I don't think it's actually IN the park, but it boders it. If you're ever interested in going soon, let me know, and we'll go too! thanks Margaret, I'm a sucker for taking pics of flowers and things!
Glad you all are having such fun. You are visiting my favorite places. Like your new look for the blog!
Corrinea: I was thinking I'm gonna have to touch base with you to get names of places in the Black Forest where you have those great, long, but gorgeous hikes! We're wanting to do that SOON, so I'll have to chat with you sometime. But, it looks like we may be here longer than anticipated (no end in sight, so far!), so I guess no rush! :)
